Six years ago I saw a performance of Drummer Hodge and, like everyone else in the audience, was blown away by the power of the work and the talent of everyone involved.
I remember thinking how incredible it was that a small rural town had the power to stage something worthy of the West End and I was determined to be a part of the next one.
So when I was invited to join the board of Dorchester Community Plays Association to help with the publicity campaign for Spinning the Moon, I jumped at the chance – though I didn’t know what to expect, and it was quite the eye-opener…
The inevitability of postponing Spinning the Moon because of Coronavirus didn’t make the actual announcement any easier....
